Getting Here
Located on Georgina Island, you must take the Aazhaawe Ferry from Virginia Beach at 7751 Black River Road in Virginia Beach.
After a short trip, you will exit the Ferry and turn on right on to Bear Road. It is about 3/4 of a mile from the ferry. We also have docking at the park if you have your own boat.
The cost of the $ 50.00 Ferry trip is not included as part of your visit to Neezh Meegwunun*.
Please note, you may not leave the campground property once you are here except to return to the mainland.
Please also note that RV's and Campers are not permitted on the island.
When making a reservation, please have license plate # ready.
* Please note that there are only specific days that boats and seadoos that need to be brought to the island can cross on ferry, usually Monday to Thursday, arrangements should be made and confirmed by our guests with ferry operators at 705-437-1337.
